Can the state supply our educational needs? The answer to this question is a resounding no! California budget cuts will impact every State program, including those that affect the students of Lucerne Valley. The goal of the Educational Foundation is to develop and implement programs that will enhance the educational experience currently available to our students, with an emphasis on the natural and applied sciences.
What is the Mitsubishi Cement Corporation Educational Foundation? The Educational Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 created by Mitsubishi Cement Corporation with seed money placed into secure, interest bearing accounts. This protected principal will produce interest that will be used only in programs that will directly affect Lucerne Valley students.
By partnering with the community the educational fund will grow and be able each year to provide our students with opportunities they would otherwise not receive.
What’s happening now? The Educational Foundation currently funds field trips and college scholarships.
How can you help? Anyone can help by donating to the Education Foundation’s principal. As the principal grows, more interest becomes available, with more student programs added each year.
